Scrupulous and constant checks for high quality standards of the production chain

The quality of Diano Casearia products is guaranteed by a daily care of the farms, by careful research and selection of raw materials and by scrupulous processing methods.  At the base of the production system there is only cow and buffalo milk, which comes directly from the pastures of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. Quality control covers the entire supply chain, from the care given to pastures to the production of products. Together with the production capacities, modern packaging machinery and a chemical laboratory, equipped for the daily control of milk and finished products, allow to maintain high quality standards and, at the same time, to be present in almost all large-scale distribution. Italian with its own brands and various private labels. In 2009, confirming the particular attention paid to the quality of its products and the safety of each single ring of the production cycle, the dairy obtained the IFS and BRC Certifications and the Certification for the PDO issued by the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana Consortium. Despite the attention paid to tradition, the company is always devoted to improving the product and has established a collaboration with the University of Salerno for a research path on new processing methods. Finally, to enrich the range of its products and differentiate themselves on the market in terms of their quality, Diano Casearia wanted to invest heavily and guarantee a controlled and high quality supply chain to all production, with particular attention to the issue of animal welfare. To this end, it has implemented a circuit for the collection of Italian milk of the highest quality, coming from the farms of the national park, including some devoted to organic farming.

The company is equipped with a rigid internal control system, based on its own chemical and microbiological analysis laboratory which carries out daily checks on samples of the milk collected.  It also makes use of further analyzes and certifications by accredited external laboratories. In addition, Diano Casearia participates in the growth and development of partner farms, monitoring the well-being of buffaloes and cattle through the supervision of housing conditions and the strict control of the animal's diet.
